Sharon

My name is Sharon Wilson and I am an Accredited Life Coach who supports people to be their best selves @ work/studies/life and create a healthy balance. I am passionate about Making a Difference and this inspires me to support individuals and teams to achieve their personal and professional goals and lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

I received a Make a Difference Award from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for my contribution to a number of social coaching projects and was a volunteer & Games Maker interviewer for the London 2012 Olympics. I am also a mentor and do volunteering work for under-privileged children.

I created Complimentary Kindness as there wasn’t a platform available for people to come together to verbally thank someone and express their gratitude & appreciation for having an impact on their lives.  So I thought a great fun way to do this would be in the form of publicly giving and receiving compliments.

The Team

MoniKa

I was born and raised in Hungary and have been living in the UK for 12 years. I am often described as a people person, having good energy & being a ray of sunshine. In my spare time, I like participating in sports in every form, being a tour guide for friends on vacation and trying to spend as much time as I can with my family and loved ones. I am the kind of person that believes that magical moments can be created out of acts of kindness and that a positive attitude can change your life and the ones you are connected with.

SAMMY

Sammy is known as the smiler in the team because of his warm and infectious smile.  Even if you throw him a challenge his first response will be to give you that beaming smile, followed by a practical, logical and rational response.  He is forever volunteering for community projects and will often take the leading role despite being busy and when is not helping others you will find him at the gym. Kindness comes naturally to him.

MONICA

Monica has a heart of gold and will often put the needs of others before her own.  She is family orientated a regular volunteer and works well with children and senior citizens.  She has excellent research skills and is known for her diligence and running projects.  She is kind and will always go the extra mile to make sure that someone is happy and taken care of.  Monica brings kindness into everything she does.

ANDREW

One of my biggest passions in life is travelling and exploring the world; especially to places off the beaten path. Something I have come to realise is that no matter the country or culture, people are inherently the same in a basic sense. Kindness, empathy, and positivity, I believe are the fundamental attributes to building relationships and trust in all areas of the world. It’s with this belief that makes Complimentary Kindness such a great movement and one that I’m proud to represent.”

Paola

The reason why I am a part of CK is because I believe in the positive power of kindness. I love spending time with children because their fun and innocent spirit is contagious. Likewise I believe that kindness is contagious too and being part of CK is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done so far in my life.

Tina

When someone describes me as ‘kind’, I take it as a great compliment.  It is when I’ve been on the receiving end of kindness that I have felt its power most.  The silver lining in the dark cloud of my mother’s dementia has been experiencing the immense kindness of others.  It has sometimes surprised me and always touched me. So I think kindness should be dished out whenever possible. It’s extremely simple to administer and has an enduring positive impact.  My horse – the apple of my eye - gets large helpings of it, as do my friends, and my dear old mum. I’ve even tried it on unsuspecting strangers via an assortment of community projects and they seem to quite like it too.

JAMES

I'm a huge believer in kindness, and to be complimentary to one another! I absolutely adore nature and peaceful countryside surroundings. But I also love the hustle and bustle of city life.  I love to help as many people as I can, and volunteer whenever possible! Remember a simple smile can make someone’s day
